Vancouver Blazers

Vancouver was the the third stop for the charter member of the World Hockey Association (WHA), who began as the Miami Screaming Eagles. The team never played in South Florida and instead moved to Pennsylvania and became the Philadelphia Blazers before the WHA's inaugural season in 1972. In 1973, they moved to B.C., but their poor play drew few fans and the team moved again after the 1974-75, this time landing in Calgary where they became the Cowboys.
