Official Darnell Hillman ABA Player Tee

Darnell Hillman, nicknamed "Dr. Dunk," played for the Indiana Pacers of the American Basketball Association (ABA) starting in 1971. He helped the team win back-to-back championships (1972 and 1973) but is probably better known as one of the sports most prolific dunkers. In 1977, he won the NBA's first-ever slam dunk contest, though that wasn't pro basketball's first such exhibitionHillman also famously war the "Bottle Shoppe" jersey at that 1977 competition.
