Memorial Stadium in Baltimore was an iconic sports venue that hosted a number of baseball, soccer, and football teams, and held many great memories for the town's sports fans. It's most notable tenants were the Baltimore Colts football team, as well as the city's pro baseball team. It also hosted the city's Canadian Football League team, the Stallions, as well as the Comets of the North American Soccer League. The baseball team moved to a new stadium in 1992. For two years, 1996-1997, near the end of its existence, it was the home of the city's current pro football team. The stadium closed in 1997 and was torn down in 2002.
