Forbes Field was the home of Pittsburgh baseball from 1909 to 1970. From 1922 to 1939 it was also the home field of the Homestead Grays, who played in several different Negro leagues. The Pittsburgh football team played there from 1933 to 1963. In 1970, the baseball and football teams moved to Three Rivers Stadium
