FC Cincinnati's leading scorer in 2019, Allan Cruz began his pro soccer in 2013 in his homeland with Uruguay de Coronado, a member of that country's second division. He moved up to Costa Rica's top league with Herediano in 2017. In 2019 he joined FC Cincinnati and appeared in 22 regular-season matches, was named team MVP, and was voted FCC Players’ Player of the Year. He is also a member of Costa Rica's national soccer team.
